This is a versatile art-of the state Digital Recording Studio equipped with most of the advance technology. The DM-3200 features 32 full-featured channels and 16 returns for a total of 48 channels at mix down - even at its full 96kHz / 24-bit audio resolution.

It has 4-band fully-parametric EQ and dynamics on every channel and two effects processors, each capable of running the built-in TC Works reverb processor.

The DM-3200 provides a new way to record with DAW recording software. With the addition of an optional expansion card, the IF-FW/DM FireWire interface, the DM-3200 becomes a 24-channel computer audio interface, making it a complete studio solution for professional DAW recording.

Surround mixing is available with up to 6.1-channel panning, and the optional IF-SM/DM expansion card adds surround monitoring and downmixing to the DM-3200.

Built-in HUI and Mackie Control emulation allows the console to function as a flexible control surface for workstation software. This gives you the best of both worlds - total control over your recording software transport and mixing capabilities with the cue mixing, talkback, microphone preamps and world-class automation provided by the DM-3200.

The Katjazz Records state-of-the-art studio is available for both private and commercial purposes and to those musicians signed to the Katjazz Records label. The studio features the following equipment:

The V8II V-Series 2 powered monitor delivers clarity and accuracy on-par with many world-class speakers costing much more. Features several key design elements, including radiused edges for improved imaging and a slotted port that greatly reduce distortion caused by port turbulence. A speaker protection circuit, auto on/off, and upgraded driver and amp components promise peak performance in even the most demanding professional environments. The V8II V-Series 2 monitor features an 8" Kevlar woofer, 1" soft-dome tweeter, and 180 watts of bi-amped power.

Neumann TLM-103 Microphone
The large diaphragm Neumann TLM-103 Microphone is at home in even the finest project studios. Provides platinum-quality sound on a bronze budget. Neumann uses transformerless circuitry for ultralow self-noise and this mic handles sound pressure levels up to 138dB. Cardioid polar pattern optimizes attenuation of unwanted sound and suppresses feedback. The TLM-103 Microphone has a protective wire mesh grille that protects the capsule and prevents pop noises. Frequency range: 20Hz to 20kHz. Impedance: 50 ohms.

AKG C 414 B-XL II Condenser Microphone
The AKG C 414 B-XL II Condenser Microphone is designed to make soloists sound great. The AKG C 414 has been a studio workhorse for many years and has undergone numerous refinements. Based on the C3414, the C414B-XLS has a vastly improved capsule shockmount, and new, switching 1" diaphragm. It has 5 switchable polar patterns: omnidirectional, wide cardioid, cardioid, hypercardioid, and figure 8. 2-color LEDs indicate polar pattern and output overload. It has 3 switchable bass cut filters and 3 pre-attenuation pads with LEDs for quick reference and delivers a huge 20Hz-20kHz frequency range. The signal-to-noise ratio of 88dB, A-weighted offers the kind of performance required for digital tracking sessions. The C414B-XLII has the distinctive timbre of the classic C414 and is designed for adding presence to vocals and for distant miking of instruments. It comes with the H 85 professional shockmount/stand adapter, PF 80 external pop filter, and W 414 X external windscreen.

AKG C 3000 B Condenser Microphone
The AKG C 3000 B Condenser Mic is incredibly versatile. Gold-coated capsule combines the best of large diaphragm and micro transducer technologies for performance quality worthy of the most demanding studio applications, yet it's rugged enough to take touring. 20Hz-20kHz frequency range, -10dB switchable preattenuation, 6dB low-frequency cut, and integrated windscreen. Includes shockmount and hard case.

AKG C 1000 S Condenser Microphone
The excellent AKG C 1000 S is a vocal microphone that works well even from a distance. The C 1000 S mic is ideal for recording choirs and other live groups. Outstanding performance when used for instruments, too. The AKG C 1000 S is an ideal mic for home recording applications. A special converter (PPC 1000) turns the microphone characteristics from cardioid to hypercardioid, if it is mounted on the mic top. The new PB 1000 Presence Boost Adapter provides an additional 5-dB high-frequency peak in the cardioid mode adding brilliance in the 5 to 9 kHz range. Operates on either phantom power or standard 9V battery, and an LED has been added for low-battery warning. The C1000s can also be used for a variety of studio applications.

Winner of the TEC Award for Outstanding Technical Achievement (2005) and the m.i.p.a award for Best Drum Microphone (2005), the Sennheiser e902 is a dynamic mic designed to reproduce the lowest bass sources and handle extremely high sound pressure levels. It is ideal for kick drums, bass guitar amps, tubas, and any other bass instruments. Exceptionally clean and clear reproduction of the deepest bass signals. Cardioid pickup pattern. Frequency response: 20Hz - 18kHz. Rugged construction for touring stage applications.

Sennheiser e604 Drum Microphone
The response and cardioid pattern of the Sennheiser e604 Drum Microphone is optimized for use on drum sets, while also producing exceptional results on brass and woodwinds. Sennheiser e604 mics handle very high SPLs, with clear, balanced, low-distortion signals similar to high-end studio condenser mics. Lightweight voice coils provide extended high frequency and rapid transient response. Tough reinforced fiberglass bodies take knocks and shocks and suppress impact noise.

Shure SM58 Mic
Legendary for its uncanny ability to withstand abuse that would destroy any other microphone, the Shure SM58 has not only helped to define the sound of rock vocals on stage, it's also been used as a hammer to build stages and gone on to perform flawlessly later at the gig. Using a club's house system? You'll be singing through an SM58. And in the studio? Daniel Lanois always uses the SM58 or Beta58 on Bono's vocals.
The Shure SM58 Mic is world-renowned for its distinctive upper-midrange presence peak that ensures an intelligible, lively sound. Perfectly fits the hand, balanced for total comfort during long gigs. Frequency response is a smooth, vocal-tailored 50Hz-15kHz, and the price is a bargain considering its life expectancy.
