Manoj Kumar KC (Nepal)
Manoj is best known as the lead guitarist and keyboardist of one of Nepal’s most successful rock bands, 1974AD. His diverse musical interests include Eastern and Western Classical music, blues, funk, electronic and jazz. Manoj has performed with accomplished musicians from around the world including Jessie van Ruller, Richard Hardy (Dave Matthews Band), Carol King, HFT, Jim Surley and Frank (Jefferson Airplane) among others. He has toured the US, UK, Australia, Germany, Belgium, South Korea, Thailand, India, Qatar and, of course, his native Nepal.
Manoj was nominated as the “best music programmer/arranger 2006’ by Image Music Awards. Manoj has produced music for popular Nepali artists such as Nabin K. Bhattarai, Nima Rumba, Sugam pokharel, Deepesh Bhattarai, Sabin Rai, Adrian Pradhan, Phiroj Shyangden, Mausami Gurung, Prasna Shakya, Saroj Dutt, Sukmit Gurung, Sanjeev Singh, Sanjeev Pradha n, etc. He also scores movies and documentaries and has composed jingles and station IDs for Nepali TVand radio stations. -
Manzil Bikram KC (Nepal)
Manzil Bikram K.C. was born in a musical family. Since his childhood he began developing interest in music and under the guidance of his uncle and elder brother, he started learning the guitar and the piano. While in college he joined the band Pralay during their gig at the Durbar Marg Street Festival shortly after which the band collapsed. He was always interested in making music on his own so he learned MIDI programming with Mr. Manoj Kumar K.C. (Guitarist, 1974 A.D.), his elder brother who later turned his interest towards music recording too. Having worked as audio engineer (Ringtones and PRBT) for Meromobile/Spicenepal, more than a year, Manzil is familiar with music production softwares like Nuendo, Reason, Pro Tools and Apple Logic Pro. He recently completed his Bachelors in Business Studies and is struggling to develop skills to venture the music business in his own homeland, Nepal.
