As a passionate music lover, Bijayandra Shrestha started his musical journey as a child playing in school bands. He quickly realized the importance of music in his life and decided to devote his full energy and attention to the art form.
While living in London, he completed his Higher Diploma in Contemporary Music Performance in ICMP. He then returned to Nepal and completed his Bachelors Degree in Eastern Classical and Folk music to better understand and study the musical culture and roots of Nepali music. He studied classical music with great musicians like Dhan Bahadur Gopali, Shree KC, Deepak Jangam, Rabin Das Shrestha, Ram Hari Gurung , etc. Bijayandra joined KJC to further expand his knowledge in western music and study the Piano. He studied piano with Mayo Shimonishi, Juan Ortiz and Marcus Dengate at KJC. He is involved in various bands and projects, performing and recording regularly.
Bijayandra is a full scholarship student, performer and teacher at KJC. He is a versatile musician who loves teaching and studying music with his students.
