Born in freiburg germany(1985) Jonas Winterhalter studied jazz-trumpet and composition in Basel and Bern, Switzerland with matthieu Michel, Bert joris and Adrian mears.
Jonas has collaborated with artists from Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, Luxembourg and China.
Founder, writer and conductor of a big Band (2012) has been a member of dksj-all-star-project in switzerland and is also an organizer of jazz concert series called  “blue rabbit” at a club in freiburg.
