Manish Lama is a guitarist, pianist, composer, and educator. Born in Kathmandu, he got the opportunity to learn music in his school at the age of 10. He first got introduced to the keyboard and then quickly switched to the guitar by the influence of his friends. He and his friends used to jam on many songs from different genres mostly rock and metal. He learned mostly from the internet and still, the internet has been a great resource for him to learn from. After his completion of school, he worked as a session guitarist and audio engineer mostly at Studio Purple and other studios. He then joined Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory to explore Jazz and Classical music. There he got to learn from many teachers having a wide range of musical knowledge. He learned piano, guitars, and composition, and has acquired a diploma in guitars and composition.
