Piano player and composer Michael Arbenz has been active as leader of various bands during the last couple of years. With his  highly acclaimed trio VEIN, he  played  several hundred concerts on four continents in over 30 countries and performed at the most important festivals and clubs throughout Europe (Montreux Jazz Festival, Jazzdays Leipzig, Jazzfestival Oslo, Jazzfestival Valencia, London Jazz Festival,…) Internationally renowned musicians such as Dave Liebman,  Greg Osby, Rick Margitza, Andy Sheppard, Wolfgang Puschnig, Glenn Ferris, Alex Sipiagin, Kent Carter and Marc Johnson joined his activities. He also gave classical concerts. Michael is teaching at the jazz department of the university of Lucerne/Switzerland.
