One of the core standards of our organization is maintaining the availability of an international faculty. We have amazing Nepali musicians working with us here at KJC who have been with us for years and when they get together with people from countries like the UK, Spain, the US, Belgium, Italy, India, Japan and many more, it produces this magical concoction of cultures and influences that is the hallmark of what KJC is built upon. It is an emblem of the unity of our species expressed through a universal language that is music. We are more connected now more than ever before as the world grows smaller and smaller joined together by technology and fast travel.
This month we welcome two of our international faculty – Maria Fajardo from Spain and Diandra Danieli from Italy. Maria is a graduate from the most famous school for music in the world, Berklee College of Music. It is one of the most sought after destinations in the music industry with world renowned musicians like John Mayer, John Scofield, Al Di Meola, Hiromi Uehara and Steve Vai having studied in their halls. Diandra is a professional international musician, performing in more than 150 concerts in countries like Germany, Bosnia, Slovenia, Croatia, USA etc. She has taught choral singing and technical diaphragmatic in Bologna and schools like Vocal Master School and Armony Dance. It’s a famous school directed by a national TV choreographer in Rome.
